1. The Nature of 3D Printed Goods
By purchasing from Virus Labs, you acknowledge that our products are 3D printed.
-
Manufacturing Characteristics: 3D printing is an additive manufacturing process. Minor surface imperfections, visible layer lines, and small artifacts are inherent to the process and are not considered defects.
-
Material Limitations: Unless otherwise stated, products are made from thermoplastic materials (e.g., PLA). These materials can warp or soften if exposed to high heat (such as a hot car or near a heater) or prolonged direct sunlight.
-
Product Use: Our items are designed as decorative or novelty pieces (like the Flashbang Vase). They are not intended for heavy industrial use, food consumption (unless specified as food-safe), or high-stress mechanical applications.
2. Product Variations and Accuracy
While we strive for consistency, the nature of 3D printing means:
-
Color Variance: Filament colors can vary slightly between manufacturing batches. We cannot guarantee an exact color match to the images on your screen.
-
Dimensions: Small dimensional variances (typically within ±0.5mm) are standard in 3D printing and shall be accepted as a successful print.
3. Orders and Production Time
Unlike traditional e-commerce, many of our items are "Print-on-Demand."
-
Lead Times: Shipping estimates do not include production time. We will provide an estimated "Ready to Ship" window at checkout, but this may vary based on print queue volume.
-
Cancellations: Once a print has started, we may be unable to cancel the order as materials have already been consumed.
4. Safety and Liability Disclaimer
-
Structural Integrity: While we design for durability, 3D-printed parts can snap under pressure. Please handle items with care.
-
Choking Hazard: Small 3D-printed parts or broken pieces can pose a choking hazard. Our products are not intended for children unless explicitly labeled as "Toy Safe."
-
Liability: Virus Labs is not liable for any damage to personal property or personal injury resulting from the misuse or failure of a 3D-printed product.
5. Intellectual Property
All designs, 3D models, and digital files used to create our products remain the intellectual property of Virus Labs or our licensed partners. Purchase of a physical product does not grant the right to scan, replicate, or resell the digital design of that product.
6. Shipping and Damaged Goods
Due to the brittle nature of some 3D prints, items may occasionally be damaged in transit.
-
Reporting: You must report any shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
-
Resolution: We will, at our discretion, either re-print the item or issue a refund for the damaged portion of the order.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be handled within the jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.
